FAQ
Straight answers for the Pop-Up Tent — size, setup, care, shipping, and returns.
What is the Mama Beast Pop-Up Tent?
A private, portable changing room for kids. Pop it open at the beach, pool, park, or water park — change swimsuits, rinse off sand, handle the unexpected — fully out of view.
How big is it?
Open: 22″ wide × 22″ deep × 38″ tall
Entrance: 18″ wide × 29″ tall
Folded: about a 14″ disc in the carry bag
Weight: 1.25 lb
Sized for young kids (roughly toddler through early elementary). Adults will not stand fully upright inside — that’s intentional. It packs into a tote, not a trunk.
How fast does it open and close?
Opens in about 5 seconds. Folds with one twist (like a car sunshade) in about 10 seconds. No poles. No assembly.
Is it waterproof?
It’s water-resistant — designed so you can rinse sand and splash inside and keep the mess contained. It is not a scuba hatch or permanent outdoor shelter. After wet use, air-dry before long storage.
What’s included?
- Pop-up tent
- Carry bag with strap
- Reusable wet bag (12″ × 16″)
- Metal hook
- Mama Beast stickers
Will it fit in a beach bag / stroller basket / pool tote?
Yes. Folded it’s a slim 14″ disc — smaller than most beach towels once packed.
Can I use it for more than swimsuit changes?
Parents use it for privacy changes, sandy rinse-offs, nursing cover in a pinch, and “we are not doing the water-park restroom line” moments. Use common sense for your child’s age and the setting.
Do you ship to my area?
We ship across the United States. See our Shipping page for timing and rates.
What’s your return policy?
30 days. Unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. Details on our Refund policy and Returns page.
How do I wash or clean it?
Wipe down with mild soap and water. Air dry fully before folding for storage. Don’t machine-wash or tumble-dry the tent.
Is this the same as those big Amazon beach pods?
No. Those are often larger sun shelters. Mama Beast is a compact privacy changer built to live in your bag. Smaller footprint. Faster setup. Made for the “change and go” moment — not for camping out all afternoon.
